Meeting local accountancy firms and trainee accountants

It was great to meet with local accountancy firms Lovewell Blake and Jermyn & Co., as well as the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and trainee accountants recently to discuss the important contribution they make to our local economy.

We spoke about the need for more funded accountancy apprenticeships in our area, giving young people the chance to train, gain qualifications and build successful careers locally.

Accountancy may not always be the first sector people think of when talking about the local economy, but these firms support so many businesses across Lowestoft and the surrounding area.

Always lovely to meet at The Hotel Victoria too, with such a beautiful view of the sea!
