Mel McGee appointed chair of Lowestoft Pride in Place board
🎉 Big news - Lowestoft Pride in Place has its new Chair 🎉
Mel McGee has been appointed to chair the Pride in Place board in Central Lowestoft.
Mel grew up in Lowestoft and built a successful career in advertising. She’s passionate about the town and determined to bring new ideas, energy, and long-term change to the heart of the community.
The Government-backed programme will see £2million invested each year over the next 10 years - a £20million, once-in-a-generation investment in Central Lowestoft, shaped by the people who live and work here and focused on delivering lasting change for the town.
👥 Mel is now looking for people to join the Central Lowestoft Neighbourhood Board - a new team of local champions who will shape how the investment is used.
