PRIDE IN PLACE BOARD APPOINTED

I’m delighted that the new Lowestoft Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board has now been appointed.

The Board, chaired by Mel McGee, will help steer £20 million of investment over the next ten years and develop a long-term plan for central Lowestoft.

Lowestoft’s greatest strength has always been its people, and this Board reflects that. I’m determined that the investment is shaped by residents from every part of the area - not imposed from above.

I’m looking forward to working with Mel and the rest of the Board to ensure local people are heard and to help Lowestoft realise its full potential.
