RECEIVING OVER 12,000 MESSAGES OF SOLIDARITY FROM AROUND THE WORLD
On Friday, I spoke to BBC Suffolk Look East about the incredible solidarity I have received from around the world following my legal action against Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI.
More than 12,000 people across over 50 countries have sent messages of support, which Avaaz brought together in a beautiful book. I was presented with it alongside local activist Frances Peebles at the gorgeous new Messums East in Lowestoft’s old NatWest building. A huge thank you to Avaaz for bringing so many voices together – with over 268,000 people now having added their name to the campaign.
Reading those messages was incredibly moving. Women and girls everywhere deserve to live their lives, including online, without fear of having their images manipulated and sexualised without their consent.
Technology companies must be held accountable for the tools they create and the harm they can cause, and I am determined to keep pushing for stronger protections so that others do not have to experience the same abuse.
Thank you to every single person who has added their voice.
