Meeting with the East Suffolk Travel Association in Beccles
Thank you to the East Suffolk Travel Association (ESTA) for inviting me to their AGM last weekend in Beccles Library. We discussed the new earlier and later trains, plus how we can improve speeds on the line (it’s hard with all the level crossings!) and more frequent services. I also discussed the work I’ve been doing with partners including ESTA to improve the hours of the 99 coastal bus service including better integration at the train station. And of course improving bus stops and seeing how we can introduce electronic times at stops.
They have produced a leaflet (see below) with kind support from the Town Council to advertise the new 107 service in Gunton which we fought hard to secure. It’s a case of, “use it or lose it”!
