JOINING A LOCAL POSTIE ON THEIR MORNING ROUND

I recently had the pleasure of joining a local Royal Mail postie on their morning round to get a better understanding of the vital work they do every day to keep our communities connected.

Rain or shine, postal workers provide an essential service - delivering letters, parcels and important documents, while often being a familiar face for residents in our towns and villages. It was a great opportunity to see the dedication, hard work and local knowledge that goes into every delivery.

It was also valuable to hear about the realities of the job and the pride postal workers take in serving their communities each day.

A huge thank you to everyone at Royal Mail, and especially to my postie Liam for welcoming me onto his round. It was a pleasure to spend the morning with you and to see the fantastic work you do for our community.
