visiting worlingham marshes
It was great to catch up with Suffolk Wildlife Trust again during a recent visit to Worlingham Marshes and hear more about the exciting work underway to restore this important landscape for wildlife and the local community.
Following the devastating wildfires at Dunwich Heath, it’s also a timely reminder of just how precious - and how vulnerable - our natural spaces are. Protecting and restoring places like Worlingham Marshes is vital, not only for the wildlife that depends on them, but also for tackling climate change, improving resilience to flooding, and ensuring future generations can continue to enjoy Suffolk’s incredible landscapes.
Thank you to everyone at Suffolk Wildlife Trust for taking the time to show me around and for all the fantastic work you do to protect nature across Suffolk.
