Nominate a Community Hero for MY ADVENT Calendar

In the run up to Christmas, I’ll be celebrating the incredible people across Lowestoft, Beccles and our villages who quietly make our communities better. Each day I’ll be highlighting a different Community Hero on my social media — and I’d love your help to find them.

A Community Hero can be someone who:

• goes above and beyond for neighbours, vulnerable people or their community

• volunteers with local groups, charities, sports clubs or schools

• brings people together and strengthens community spirit

• champions local causes, events or traditions

• shows exceptional kindness, generosity or support during difficult times

• or someone who, through everyday actions, helps make our area a better place to live

If you know someone who deserves a festive shout-out and public recognition, please nominate them below.

The deadline to submit is 5pm on Friday 28 November. Entries submitted after that time will not count.

Your information will be handled in line with my website’s Privacy Policy, and nominations may be featured publicly as part of the Christmas Community Hero Calendar.
