I’m passionate about fighting for the causes I believe in.

As your MP, I would be a fierce advocate for change at a local and national level.

These are my priorities:

As Rishi Sunak's Tories pass blame around to everyone but themselves, working people are struggling to get by, with half of residents in Lowestoft are cutting back on food and energy.

I know what it's like to not have enough money to feed the electricity meter, and in Parliament, I would champion the solutions we need to ease the cost of living both locally and nationally.

Tackling the cost of living crisis

Cutting NHS waiting times

Patients waiting hours for ambulances to arrive, waiting lists at record highs, people struggling even to see their GP and dentist - the NHS is on its knees, brought down by 13 years of Conservative underinvestment and neglect.

Labour would put patients first, cutting waiting times and tackling the GP and dental crisis by recruiting 7,500 more doctors and 10,000 more nurses paid for by abolishing the non-dom tax status.

Regenerating our town centres

Tory MP Peter Aldous has stood by as local businesses shut their doors, high streets decline and poor road and rail connections remain inadequate. That's why I'm campaigning for a direct train service linking Lowestoft and London.

I want to see our local community thriving, with essential services like grocery shops, GP surgeries, and pharmacies available locally, restoring our town parades as places people can once again come together.

Seizing the opportunities of net zero

With its offshore windfarm expertise and Sizewell C creating new specialist jobs, Lowestoft has the potential to be at the forefront of green growth.

We need a long-term plan to clean up our water and environment, win the global race for green investment, strengthen our national energy security and achieve net zero. That's the change Labour will deliver, all while bringing down energy bills and saving people money.
